Luxe Thailand!

Working the hours we do, we're not left with much time for holidays.  When we do get the chance, nothing beats spoiling ourselves with something special.

Seats up the right end of the plane. Check.
5+ star accommodation. Check.
Spa treatments galore. Check.
Staff to cater to our every whim, including babysitting. Check.

Koh Samui was fantastic - Miles lived on vegetable fried rice, watermelon and lime juice, Dad lived on Thai-style crispy whole fish (almost every day!), and mum just loved taking everything in. Days were spent lazing around the pool, swimming at any number of beaches, and sampling plenty of fabulously fresh seafood and other local delicacies.

Highlights?  Too many, but definitely:

- the villa...even better than in the pictures on the website when we booked.  We couldn't believe how amazing it was.
- walking through night street food markets with a $1.50 mojito in hand sampling lots of great local food (Miles loved it!).
- a waterslide park all to ourselves.  No idea why we were the only visitors, but not sure how we'll ever replicate a private theme park for Miles again!

Even the flights were really good - Miles was a great traveller and there was plenty to keep him from getting too restless.

When can we return?!
