Taste of the high life in TNQ

4 days in Port Douglas...private villa with pool, fresh seafood, 30+ degrees every day. Very relaxing.

The trip got off to a cracking start, with mum and Miles made to feel very comfortable in seat 1A on the flight up. We fear our boy may be getting very used to the high life (private pool and business class flights aside), if his culinary experiences while away are anything to go by:

- Fresh prawns
- Truffle

Both of which were alongside plenty of his favourite foods - mango, watermelon and cucumber.

Holiday highlight? Splashing about happily in our pool, enjoying the sunshine.

Holiday lowlight? Guess who had a major blowout in the back of the hire car less than 5 minutes after picking it up from Cairns? Thankfully, this didn't happen while smugly ensconced in 1A...I fear we may not have been welcomed back again!  20 baby wipes and a complete outfit change later and we were back on our way...

A few holiday snaps. Anyone jealous??

 Mossman Gorge

Still scarred from the bracing waters of the last gorge we swam in (Laos), Glenn decided not to take a dip.

Not so gourmet but apparently equally tasty - tablecloths!

Pool swimming = win. Beach swimming = fail. Not such a happy fella

Back at the villa, and all is good again.
