Hard to believe it, but Miles Louis is one month old today.
Things Glenn and I have learnt:
- 8 feeds per day = 8 filthy nappies = 240(ish) so far in the first month = major landfill...our bins have never been this full!
- 5-10 minutes having a shower in the morning is often the ONLY time you have to yourself. All day. Excluding the broken sleep you have overnight.
- eating dinner together at night once a week (even once a fortnight!) without juggling the boy in the other hand is a special treat.
- little boys can be slippery in the bath...hold on tight to avoid a surprise (accidental) dunking.
Things Miles has learnt:
- feeding is fun. Especially if you go at it like a piranha and make an absolute mess of things.
- getting your kit off for a nappy change is the least favourite activity in any day and cause to squeal like a little piglet.
- cuddles with mum and dad are the best thing ever. After the fipple.
Time flies. We hope you enjoy the first of a series of monthly shots of our boy as he grows.
