A boy goes to Bali - part 3 (swimming)

Holidays are for relaxing. For Miles, this meant lots and lots and lots of time in the pool.

This was no ordinary villa pool - 16m long and 2m deep, it was almost as big as the pool Miles goes to for his weekly swimming lessons.  Additionally, there was a small children's pool, the perfect size for small boys and their parents to practice standing and cruising around the edges.

We swam at least twice every day of our holiday.  Dad and Miles spent close to an hour in the water each time, playing games, floating on pool toys and just being boys.

Just when we thought we might be tiring of the pool at our villa, issues with electricity and no backup generator saw us moved to the (worlds biggest) villa next door for our final two nights, complete with an even bigger pool and new pool toys.  Dad took a particular shine to the inflatable seal, as you can see from the photos below...
